From Calais

Via Toll Road

Take the A26 from the port and then take the A16 towards Boulogne. Just before you reach Boulogne you will come to a peage (toll road). You will go through a toll booth where you take a ticket. Take the motorway for two junctions – exit number 27 sign posted Ste Cecile and Hardelot. There is a charge of €1.70 which you pay at the exit of the motorway. (It is an unmanned booth, so having the right change is a good idea). After the toll booth you go straight over a little roundabout and then you turn left onto the D940 towards Ste Cecile and Le Touquet. Go over one roundabout and at the second roundabout turn right signposted Ste Cecile. (The roundabout has masts on it).

Go straight over at a small roundabout heading for the beach (La Plage). There is only one main road into Ste Cecile. Just before you reach the town square you will notice one or two shops either side of you. At the roundabout at the head of the town square turn right, there is a restaurant called La Terrace on the right hand corner of the roundabout. This road has speed humps. Go almost to the very end of this road (as far as you can without going straight on into the camping site). Turn right into Avenue des Garennes. You will pass two brick pillars that indicate the beginning of the “Garennnes” private estate. The house is straight in front of you about 150 yards on the right hand side, just as the road bears slightly left. (It is cream with brown shutters). You can park in the layby there.

Avoiding Toll Road

If you do not wish to take the peage, come off the A16 just before the toll and follow green signs towards Le Touquet. These will bring you onto the D940 which is the main coast road for the Cote D’Opale. Continue following the signs for Le Touquet, and you will reach the roundabout with the A16 signposted to your left. Go straight ahead and follow the rest of the directions above.

From the Eurotunnel you drive straight on to the A16 – direction Boulogne.

NB If you are using a SatNav you will need to put Camiers in the address rather than Ste Cecile and it will bring you straight to the apartment.
